“My name is Kol Eilífr,” he said on an exhale. “I am yours if you’ll have me, seiðkona. I would offer you my sword as well if you had not already taken it.”

“I will have you,” she whispered. “If you betray me for it, I will carve out your heart.”

Alna Sigfastdottir has always been a soft thing in a hard world. Surrounded by fire, steel, and blood, she serves her people as healer and seer—tending the wounded, burying the dead, mending what others break.

Kol Eilífr knows there is a line between survival and surrender, and he has sworn never to cross it. A wounded warrior with a lifetime of battle scars, he is a stranger to mercy.

Until she shows it to him.

When fate binds them together, desire fills the space between trust and fear. But in a land ruled by blood oaths and vengeance, love is a dangerous bargain—and if either of them breaks it, the price will be paid in blood.

The First Fate: A Saga of Souls is a dark Viking romance novella featuring enemies-to-lovers tension, forbidden love, mythic adventure, and deadly devotion.

This stand-alone novella tells an epic love story with a tragic conclusion rather than a traditional HEA. Alna and Kol’s fate does not end here.
